KC Watersports is hosting their College Open the weekend of September 28! $59 a person, 2 nights of camping and 3 days of riding included. It should be a blast as always! Check the link in our bio
Posting this picture again because it embodies everything I hoped for in the Midwest College Wake Tour. A bunch of people who share a similar passion getting together for some fun, friendly competition. Growing the sport in the region I grew up in. Giving teams and individuals a reason to progress their riding. Everyone who showed up made the Tour amazing, and I’m glad to have met every one of you. That being said, I will not be able to continue the tour in the 19-20 school year. I moved out of the heartland and started a new job this winter, and I know I won’t have the time to give these events the effort and attention they deserve. I hate to leave, and I wish I didn’t have to. I hope you all had a great experience, met a new friend, rode a new park, learned a new trick, or enjoyed some other aspect of the events. That was the goal from the start. It’s not all doom and gloom, though. I hope this showed you guys how much fun competitions can be, and I know there are at least a couple tournaments in the works for the school year. Support the schools/parks putting on those events, and if you feel like you can put on your own! I promise it’s rewarding and so fun. While I’m at it, thanks so much to @kcwatersports @westrockwakepark @actionwakepark and @shredthequarry for hosting my events, planning with me, and scrambling last minute when things went wrong. Absolutely couldn’t have done it without y’all. Thanks again, love all you guys. -Pete
Congrats to the Wake Devils for taking the win in cable today! Michigan State was right there with them the entire day and earned the runner up spot. We weren’t able to decide a boat champion, the lake became flooded with Qualified Captains and the conditions became unsafe. Michigan State, Arizona State and Tennessee were still in it when we called it a day. Thanks everyone for a fun season, we’ll see you next year!
